A little baby bet/giveaway - Vous voulez gagner une petite trousse ?
As we're expecting Baby any day now, some of you are trying to guess when he/she actually arrives (Heidi, for example). It gave me an idea .... I invite you to leave a comment with your prediction, and I will send a pretty little pouch to whoever's right (just like these ones). Just for the record, my due date is June, 28th. So, let's gamble !!
Comme nous attendons Bébé d'un instant à l'autre maintenant, quelques un(e)s d'entre vous commencent à lancer les paris sur la date d'arrivée du bout d'chou (Heidi, par exemple). Ca m'a donné une petite idée ... Je vous invite donc à me laisser un commentaire avec votre pronostic et j'enverrai une petite pochette faite maison à celui/ceux qui devine(nt) la bonne date. Je vous souhaite une excellente nouvelle année, pleine de projetsde rires et de joies ! J'espère que vous avez passé un bon réveillon.
I've spent mine with my family and some friends, enjoying a great meal (my husband is a very good cook, I'm so lucky !) and drinking a lot of sparkling water as I can't drink alcohol for a few months (which is quite hard when you live in France and you like Bordeaux wine as much as I do ...).
Nous avons réveillonné avec ma famille et quelques amis, autour d'un bon repas (mon mari est un super cuistot, je suis une veinarde), et avec beaucoup d'eau pétillante pour remplacer le champagne que je ne peux pas boire pendant quelques mois (je me suis quand même accordé une demi-flûte avec l'accord de mon médecin ...)
Now, we're just watching a classic cow-boy movie by the fireplace, and we'll be eating the remaining excellent food from yesterday for dinner.
Maintenant, c'est après-midi télé-thé-près de la cheminée, et nous mangerons les restes d'hier au dîner (un faux dimanche en famille en quelque sorte...)
We've been away from home for the last 2 weeks (1 week at my in-laws - for Christmas - and this week at my parents : around 1000 kms away from each ... we're lucky to have a good car !), and we're going back on Sunday. Next week, I'll have a lot of things to share with you guys.
Nous sommes en vadrouille depuis 2 semaines (semaine de Noël chez mes beaux-parents dans le Nord, et cette semaine chez les miens en Bretagne, heureusement que nous avons une bonne voiture !), et nous rentrons ce dimanche à Nantes. J'aurai plein de choses à vous raconter la semaine prochaine.
